Talking about clothing, what about those dress pants that don’t have a crease in the front like most dress pants from the factory do?
Oh golly, I just bought a new hot pink dress and tried to wash it. I mistakenly threw it in with other clothes. Guess what? Everything came out pink! Help!!
- To properly wash polyester material and remove stains, do this…
- To make a permanent crease in any garment, do this…
- To prevent bright colors from running in the washer (usually new clothing), try this…
I was an unemployed farm wife for years, and had two daughters to clothe. No money – no clothes. As they say, “This is not acceptable”. I learned how to do everything at a Low Cost! (Circumstances of the times). By the way, I had no one in the area to ask sewing questions, share sewing ideas or anything else, so I just learned on my own.
In later years, I helped to clothe my grandchildren. They are very proud of anything that Grandma makes!
I would like to hear from you — ask about your sewing ideas, (remember, anything is possible), ask me your sewing questions, about adjusting sewing patterns, whatever. Just post your comments, and if you need help, send me an email. I will get back to you as soon as I can (when you sign up for a membership in this program).

If you should buy a sewing machine from the link above and email me some proof and the date it was purchased, I will offer the first year’s membership for a low $4.95 per month. That is great value!
Think, learning to sew is not just for now, but the future as well. You will be able to show your daughters and granddaughters while having a fantastic sense of pride in your accomplishments.
